Peace of mind
We want to make sure that we are giving you a good service. We do this by a process called quality assurance. This process involves rigorous checks on our staff and the services we deliver to ensure our standards are of the highest quality and that you are satisfied with them.
Zara Healthcare was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on 18 February 2026 and was rated Good across all categories. This was the first assessment of the service since registration, and we looked at all 5 key questions with all quality statements being assessed.
We received excellent feedback from people receiving home care who praised the reliability and delivery of care. People told us they had developed meaningful relationships with staff and relied on them. In turn, staff were dependable and well trained to meet people’s needs.
Care plans and individual records are highly personalised and give a good overview of people’s needs and what is important to them. This helps ensure staff can deliver care in line with people’s preferences whilst promoting their dignity and independence.
Zara Healthcare will also send you a questionnaire every now and then, giving you the opportunity to give us some feedback. We hope that you will be happy with the service you receive from Zara Healthcare but if you are not you should tell us.
Zara Healthcare is routinely inspected by the [Care Quality Commission](https://www.cqc.org.uk/) and other authorities.
Setting goals and achieving outcomes is important for each and every individual we support. Monitoring and recording outcomes is well documented, with every service user taking part in their person-centred plan. Informative and in-depth How to Support Me care plans are completed with the help of all those involved with a person to ensure each individual receives the best possible support with their needs.
Feedback & Complaints
We welcome and encourage feedback about the service so that we can try to improve.
If you are unhappy about the service you can talk to any member of staff. They will take your problem seriously and they may need to ask you further questions to help to understand why you are unhappy. They will tell you what they are going to do about your problem.
If you are not happy with what they say or you think it is very serious you can inform one of the managers directly. They will investigate your complaint and tell you what is going to happen.
If the problem is not resolved and your care/support is funded through either social services or the NHS you may approach them and follow their individual complaints procedures. Your support worker will be able to find out who funds your care if you do not know this.
Safeguarding Policy
Zara Healthcare’s safeguarding policy is designed to protect service users, particularly adults with learning disabilities or autism from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, and avoidable harm.
Staff have a good understanding of safety and have the training and support they need to ensure the safe delivery of care. They are also aware of actions they would take if they had any concerns such as a safeguarding concern or a change in a person’s needs. The registered manager actively seeks feedback to help ensure staff feel involved in the quality and delivery of care and to address any shortcomings.
There are clear processes and systems to review and learn from incidents and safeguarding concerns, and complaints are effectively responded to.
Our CQC Rating
Zara Healthcare is proud to have been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission across all categories following our inspection on 18 February 2026.
The service had a registered manager who was also the registered provider and had 2 regulated activities: Home care and Supported living.
We were assessed against the ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance, which makes judgements about whether the provider guarantees autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities.
The registered manager is an experienced nurse and a good communicator who is supported by an assessor and team leader. There is wider support from a quality assurance advisor who samples audits to assess the level of care delivered and identify any improvements necessary.
